In this series of lithographic abstractions I continue to investigate the relationship between form and line, positive and negative space and the tension between what is and what might be.  I create compositions through experimentation that relies upon a balance between process and awareness of the material.

Abstraction in its nature is totally devoid of any reference to reality, catering neither to constraint of time nor place and is therefore an entity within its own unique reality. It allows me to explore the layered complexity of my experience. It is a means of leaving an imprint; a reassurance of existence in a fleeting world.
